Welcome to Bundaberg Mobility Centre

Proud stockists of the World's Best Scooters!

The staff at Bundaberg Mobility Centre are proud to have the largest and longest established scooter and mobility company in Southeast Queensland. “Our modern showroom and fully equipped repairs workshop mean we have everything required to help you regain your independence and get mobile again.” says proprietor Russell Howe, who operates his store from Bundaberg Queensland with his wife Jennifer. Exclusive stockists of Shoprider, Pride, Pharmaquip, Freedom, B Mobile and Invacare, Bundaberg Mobility Centre are proud to operate the only authorised service and repair centre for these leading global mobility companies. "We are also authorised to conduct repairs on equipment for those eligible for help from the government." says Russell. "We are proud to be the only authorised repairer for the Medical Aid Subsidy Scheme."

Bundaberg Mobility Centre also have a fully computerised workshop, utilising the latest in computerised programming. This is used to customise scooters and power chairs to each customers individual needs and abilities. Should a stroke or other impairment make muscle control a problem, Russell and his team of fully-trained technicians can adjust the speed and steering settings to ensure you have control of the machine at all times.

As the first company in Australia to implement a Breakdown Card for mobility customers, Bundaberg Mobility Centre will come to you if you experience a breakdown, getting you back on the road again as soon as possible. “If a customer has a breakdown or flat battery while riding a mobility scooter, it can be pretty scary.” says Russell. “Using the Breakdown Card that comes with every scooter we sell, customers can call for assistance. This way, our customers are assured never to be left stranded or immobile.”

Russell and Jennifer understand the difficulties felt by those suffering mobility problems, both through their years of experience in running the store and also from Russell’s own painful spinal injury, from which he is still recovering. Numerous operations, years of rehabilitation and ongoing procedures have taught them a great deal about what is important to the mobility customer – having used many of their products himself Russell has real experience on which to base his valuable advice.

"When you have had an injury or when old age starts to affect your mobility, you want to know that the equipment that is keeping you mobile is reliable and safe." says Russell. "You also want it to be fully backed up by experts you can trust who are able to handle any repairs or problems. It's not just important to my customers, but also to their families who want to ensure their loved one is not riding a machine that could malfunction. Some customers need special fittings for oxygen tanks, others just need somewhere to put their walking stick - either way, all of the equipment sold here comes with a warranty to give you peace of mind."
